I would recommend that you only play with players you trust until the next patch. I'm not seeing the Religious Settlement option anymore in Pantheons. Also note that you will need Gathering Storm to play around with this exploit, because those pantheons only provide a settler or a worker with that DLC enabled.Īnd of course, "enjoy" it while you can because a patch is sure to fix the problem eventually.

You just got beat by an AI who hit a lucky goody hut I think. It worked for me day before yesterday, and I don't think there's been a patch. But that just means another civ got pantheon before you and already picked them. In this video he also explained how the pantheon menu can be closed and therefor the option of selecting a pantheon will be cancelled and restarted, but it will still spawn a settler or worker. So i was watching a video on how you can get a free settler or builder if you chose either Religious Settlements or Fertility Rites respectively.
